Caes a place to live !!!
Caes is a place to live and a place for live events.
20Km south of Paris (France) stand the town of Ris-Orangis, borded by the Seine and the national road 7 to Paris.
Since more than 20 years a squatted place exist between the Train Station and the Seine River and his name is CAES for Autonomous Center of Social Experimentation.
The Caes story is the story of his habitants and of course as in such place most of them are artists, technicians and artisans...
Festival, concert, exposition, open-doors, flea market the event are annually numerous and often successful.
No matter of your age or musical taste theres always something new to see and to hear.
Each year an international competition of acrobatic cycle and mono-cycle take place at the CAES for the pleasure of jugglers artists and sportive. The competition traditionally end with the mono-cycle basket competition which is always the great success of this event.
Workshops, Sculpteurs, Painters, Acrobats, Mecanicians, Circus, Visitors, Visitors for years, artists from all sorts and all countries, the sometimes strange but always heterogeneous population of the CAES made the unique identity of this place.
